Bio Brief
You may have read that I am a game developer, but there’s more to me than meets the eye. I am a huge sports fan. I love the NFL, and my team of preference is the Green Bay Packers (Go Pack Go). I also love soccer; my favorite teams are Chivas and Chelsea. I am a loyal friend, and I strive to be as honest and transparent as possible. My favorite food is Tacos al Pastor, and my favorite band is The Killers.
Since I was a child, I have always had a connection with video games. The first one that comes to mind is Lego Star Wars, one of the most perfect video games ever released because it was able to tell a story without a single line of dialogue. It is in my top 10 list, but my favorite titles have to be The Last Of Us, Uncharted, Punch-Out Wii, A Plague Tale, Mario Party 5, FIFA 14, Overwatch, and my all-time favorite, Destiny.
The character design of Punch-Out Wii is actually what made me get involved in game development. The mechanics, dynamics, and aesthetic are on point. The character backgrounds and the cutscenes were both hilarious, unique, and diverse. The game showed me that a great storyteller can tell amazing tales through gameplay and not through unnecessary blocks of text. I also used to play this game with my Dad, so it brings back a lot of memories.
I enjoy watching films, and my favorite director is David Fincher. His movies are breathtaking and filled with suspense. That is something that I would love to accomplish when creating video games. My most-watched movie ever is Tron: Legacy. I absolutely love the aesthetic, music and message of the film. We should never let our own creations destroy what truly matters to us. I also take a lot of inspiration from the film when I create anything, the universe of the movie is stunning and dystopical.
Overall, my goal is to become a leader in the industry and inspire game developers around the world to create innovative stories, while also helping others along the way.
